Three dumplings have one single desire: To be eaten by the great robber Mathias Kneißl - the Robin Hood of Bavaria's forests. Only little dumbling Beppi is somewhat afraid of what might going to happen to him. And we encounter some absurd "bar room gossip" about right and wrong of the robber's famous outrages - and the culinary "be or not to be" of a Bavarian dumbling.
